Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Release Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the release management team, you will assist in driving the release process for our company's products, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the smooth deployment of our software and services.
- Assist in driving the release process across company products, ensuring adherence to established procedures and timelines.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding release status between internal stakeholders and clients.
- Maintain the delivery of hotfixes and changes to production environments, following established change management processes.
- Participate in production deployment activities, ensuring smooth and successful releases.
- Assist in driving the resolution of release-related incidents, working closely with development and operations teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date release and change documentation, contributing to knowledge sharing.
- Identify opportunities to improve release processes and contribute to the development of best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of software development and release processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of change management principles.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes quickly.
Requirements
- Experience with release management tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- Experience with working in a remote team environment.
