Role Description

The Junior Buyer on the Purchasing team will be an enthusiastic, detail-driven, self-starter who plays a key role in keeping products and materials moving. You will support purchasing activities from request to delivery, partner closely with internal teams and suppliers, and bring curiosity, organization, and a problem-solving mindset to every order.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and up to 2 years purchasing experience (experience can be substituted for education).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Outgoing, positive personality that champions team spirit.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, prioritize, and perform exceptionally under pressure.
• Ability to assimilate written technical literature and turn complex information into practical solutions.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work extended hours during high volume periods.
• Ability to evaluate, understand, and make sound business decisions.
