Role Description
As a Junior Buyer, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless buying experience for our customers. You will be responsible for executing procurement processes with accuracy, efficiency, and a focus on quality.
- Execute orders with GSE, ensuring quality, speed, accuracy, and competitive pricing to enhance the customer experience.
- Support value engineering initiatives to maximize order profitability and success.
- Assist senior buyers and team leads with administrative procurement tasks.
- Identify and communicate procurement challenges to upper management or senior buyers.
- Consistently meet performance targets and key KPIs.
- Follow established processes and seek guidance when necessary to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- 0-1 year of experience in a fast-paced work environment (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Experience in operations, procurement, or customer service is an asset.
- College degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Internships or co-ops experience within supply chain, business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience in extra-curricular activities (preferred but not required).
- Written and spoken proficiency in English and French (an asset).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
