Role Description

This position has primary responsibility for supporting the Network Engineer in managing and engineering the network system to meet organizational business needs. Must be able to work with multiple teams and business units simultaneously and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must demonstrate the eagerness and ability to learn and must work well in a team environment.

• Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
• Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields required or relevant experience/certifications.
• Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in administering and maintaining networks in a large enterprise setting.
• Experience with network-based protocols and methodologies (TCP/IP, IPSec, VPN, BGP).
• Experience with Layer 2-3 switching technologies preferred.
• Firewall Configurations/Management (Palo Alto) preferred.
• Enterprise Wireless (Aruba) experience preferred.

Requirements

• Good command of the English language; second language is an asset but not required.

• Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development.
• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.
• Travel: 51%-75%.
• Standard Core Workdays/Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
