[Hiring] IT EPIC Pharmacy Application Analyst @CommonSpirit Health

Role Description

As an IT EPIC Pharmacy Application Analyst, you will implement, configure, optimize, and support EPIC Willow and other pharmacy-related modules, ensuring seamless integration and efficient medication management workflows.

• Analyze pharmacy requirements and configure Willow functionality.
• Build drug records and workflows.
• Perform testing and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with pharmacy staff.
• Design, build, test, implement, and support information technology solutions to meet operational and clinical needs.
• Work closely with customers to document requirements and communicate effectively with customers and peers to implement changes.
• Support/maintain day-to-day existing functionality/programs/applications.
• Perform intermediate system analysis and troubleshooting to implement new functionality/programs/applications.
• Analyze/research vendor release notes and documentation; understand complete end-to-end system integration.
• Create thorough system design and build documentation.
• Analyze the functionality of the system and how it fits or not with operations.
• Troubleshoot basic problems and recommend and take appropriate action as required.
• Translate high-level business requirements to detailed technical designs/documentation.
• Collaborate with other analysts, Centura staff, vendors, and leadership.
• Meet with department heads and executives on a routine basis to identify and prioritize their needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Pharmacy from an accredited school or College of Pharmacy.
• 2 years as a pharmacist experience with retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy.
• Doctor of Pharmacy in Pharmacy from an accredited school or College of Pharmacy, upon hire.
• EPIC Certification, within 120 Days.
• Epic Willow Inpatient experience and/or certification required.
