Role Description

This role involves managing the technical ecosystem as an IT Operations & Compliance Manager, ensuring security, compliance, and efficiency in a high-security environment.

• CMMC Maintenance & Audit Readiness: Manage the System Security Plan (SSP) and ensure readiness for a CMMC Level 2 assessment.
• GCC-High Tenant Governance: Administer secure environment, managing Conditional Access policies and Microsoft Purview.
• SharePoint & Workflow Optimization: Transition to structured SharePoint collaboration, managing sites and automated workflows.
• Security Monitoring: Monitor Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Identity, investigating alerts and conducting vulnerability scans.
• Web & Corporate Project Work: Act as webmaster for public-facing site and lead internal IT projects.
• User Enablement: Train employees on secure habits and document labeling.
• Asset Management & Deployment: Oversee the lifecycle of company hardware and lead technical onboarding.
• Daily IT Operations: Provide technical support, manage infrastructure, and improve processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent military/professional experience (typically 4+ years of direct technical experience in a regulated environment).
• Deep understanding of NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 requirements.
• Relevant Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or Microsoft SC-300/SC-400.

Requirements

• Compliance First Mindset: Understanding of GCC-High compliance requirements.
• Purview Power User: Expertise in data loss prevention (DLP) and sensitivity labeling.
• SharePoint Architect: Ability to design an intuitive library structure for compliance.
• Toolbox: Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Defender, and basic CMS management.
