[Hiring] IT Business Applications Supply Specialist @Calida AG

Role Description

As a Specialist IT Business Applications Supply, you ensure the stable operation and continuous development and optimization of our business applications around SAP MM and adjacent CAD and PDM/PLM systems. You act as the central interface between departments, IT, and external partners, ensuring that business requirements are efficiently translated into digital solutions.

• Manage the SAP module MM and adjacent PDM and CAD systems and ESG solutions comprehensively, advising on related processes.
• Develop concepts and solutions for new business requirements, plan their implementation, and realize them.
• Ensure the operation of applications and take over error monitoring.
• Conduct functional tests for software adjustments and updates based on defined test scenarios.
• Take on (partial) project management in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Prepare guidelines and specifications for external IT service providers.
• Participate in the evaluation of new systems and applications.

Qualifications

• Completed a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics or possess a comparable IT-related qualification.
• Solid knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP MM/PP, or alternatively in PDM, CAD, and Manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with master data management and business processes along the supply chain, understanding sourcing and development processes.
• Experience in the operation and support of business applications as well as in capturing, analyzing, and implementing departmental requirements.
• Proficiency in classical and/or agile IT project management, professionally managing stakeholders and interfaces between IT and departments.
• Entrepreneurial and process-oriented thinking, with a passion for products and their development.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and structured, approaching IT-related topics pragmatically.
• Fluent communication skills in German and English – both spoken and written.
