Role Description

Waiver Personal Care Services (WPCS) Analyst Wanted! Within the Integrated Systems of Care Division, our In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)/WPCS Unit is searching for an individual skilled in handling sensitive and complex administrative tasks, and coordinating with families, providers, and government agencies to support program access and continuity of care. WPCS provides additional in-home caregiving hours beyond IHSS to help medically fragile Home and Community-Based Alternatives (HCBA) Waiver members remain safely in their homes and communities.

• The Analyst II is responsible for duties related to day-to-day operations of WPCS, including:
• Service authorizations
• Payroll
• Provider enrollment
• Responding to public inquiries through the WPCS Hotline
• Flexibility, commitment to quality customer service, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to follow directions and policies are essential skills for this position.
• The work performed is essential to help older adults and people with disabilities receive the necessary services and supports to remain in their homes and communities safely.

Requirements

• Results from the Analyst II Bulletin (EX-4815) or the Analyst II (LEAP) Bulletin (EX-3105) examination currently in progress will be utilized for filling this position.
