[Hiring] Implementation Specialist @Kipu Systems

Role Description

The Implementation Specialist I, MAT works directly with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) clinics to configure, train, and prepare them for go-live on the Kipu EMR platform. You will support discovery conversations focused on MAT-specific workflows including:

• Patient screening
• Intake and induction
• Medication management
• Dosing operations

Your responsibilities include building out system configurations, delivering hands-on training, and maintaining project documentation across a caseload of concurrent implementations. This is an entry-level implementation role with structured coaching and development from your Team Lead or Supervisor.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role implementing an EMR or healthcare software product, or 2+ years implementing other SaaS-based software products.
• Direct experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or MAT programs.
• Strong understanding of MAT workflows including patient screening, intake and induction processes, medication management, and discharge planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort leading client meetings.
• Ability to manage multiple project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel expected up to 50%.

Requirements

• Familiarity with opioid use disorder treatment models and clinical documentation requirements for MAT programs.
• Experience with methadone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone treatment workflows.
• Experience with CRM and project management tools such as Salesforce, Jira, or Smartsheet.
