Role Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Hospitality Underwriter. The ideal candidate will have a background in underwriting, with specific expertise in General and Liquor Liability for bars, restaurants, taverns, and entertainment venues, and previous experience with a carrier, MGA, or Wholesale broker.

• Engage in the end-to-end underwriting process, including processing submissions, account underwriting, quote issuance, policy binding, endorsement management, and state/federal filing.
• Foster effective communication with agency partners to drive profitable growth.
• Execute daily tasks related to underwriting with precision and attention to detail.
• Proactively interact with all agency partners and management on a daily basis, ensuring exceptional client support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Hospitality underwriting experience.
• Proven track record of successful underwriting in the Hospitality industry.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing hospitality insurance.
• Exceptional communication and people skills, essential for effective collaboration.
• Ability to thrive independently in a remote work environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for industry events, showcasing commitment to professional development.

Benefits

• The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
• Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's background and overall fit for the role.
