[Hiring] Heat Network Consultant @Envirotech Talent

Role Description

The Company is a leading provider of heat network consultancy in the housing sector aiming to deliver better heat networks for customers, landlords, and the environment. A purpose-driven business that prioritizes people and the planet.

Salary: Around £50,000 plus bonus

Location: Remote

We work on all aspects of heat networks – both communal and district schemes - to improve their performance for clients and customers including:

• Strategy and approach
• Performance and design
• Data and data management
• Metering and billing
• Regulation and compliance
• Management and governance
• Customer communications

Purpose:

• To help create the affordable, low carbon future for all of our homes.
• To provide advice that is independent and focused on the needs of our clients and their customers.
• To keep learning about the challenges of housing and property management and what that means for our business.
• To help housing and heat network managers to bridge the information, knowledge and experience gap that prevents them from delivering better, lower cost, lower carbon services to their customers.
• To be an advocate and champion for housing and heat network managers in the heat network sector, regulators, and government.
• To share our passion with clients, their customers, and the Team for the delivery of affordable heating and homes for everyone, particularly those in underserved communities.

Our clients are housing and property managers that operate heat networks, with a focus on networks that serve social housing with end customers on low incomes and in underserved communities. This includes, but is not exclusive to, Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and Managing Agents.

Qualifications

• Degree educated in a relatable subject, or have equivalent professional experience.
• 1-3 years’ experience in an equivalent role focusing on energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Delivery of multiple projects.
• Detailed assessment and analysis of information and data to create in-depth analysis, reports, and action plans for clients.
• Presentation of analysis and reports to clients and engagement with their teams for feedback on projects as they develop.
• Reporting to the team on project progress, identifying any client and resource issues.
• Time and budget management.
• Collaboration across the team to prioritize and deliver projects and services.
• Maintain effective working relationships with clients, including attending meetings, producing activity and progress reports, and identifying opportunities to exceed client requirements.
• Support business planning by working with potential new clients/contacts and providing excellent project support.
• Contribute to the strategy of the business, making suggestions for innovation and further improving the services provided.
• Write tender responses and proposals.
• Attend networking events and liaise with external partners to represent and promote the company and our clients.
• Speak and present at relevant events and conferences.
• Contribute to our case studies, website, blog, and social media content.
