Role Description

As an IT EPIC Principal Application Analyst, you will be a central, high-level expert designing, building, and optimizing critical EPIC applications to ensure seamless integration and functionality. You will play a vital role in translating complex needs into robust IT solutions. Every day, you will:

• Lead complex EPIC projects.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Assisting in day-to-day planning, operations, and problem-solving to aid the team in obtaining defined Key Performance Indicators and service levels.
• Helping in developing the team to ensure consistency in overall productivity and performance.
• Monitoring individual performance and suggesting areas for additional professional development as necessary.
• Organizing planning of resources inclusive of allocation and prioritization of workload.
• Assisting in defining work deadlines and coordinating completion of activities.
• Identifying new opportunities for process, system, and staff improvements.
• Encouraging critical problem solving and independent thinking amongst the team.
• Operating as a change agent for the team by generating excitement for new initiatives and projects.
• Providing continual mentorship of staff in areas of technical and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years working with systems analysis programming/design, including 5 years within Epic Healthy Planet platform.
• 7 years of additional relevant experience: application support, implementation or development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry.
• EPIC Healthy Planet Certification.
