[Hiring] Health and Safety Manager @SCL

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Lead to provide oversight and governance of Health & Safety across SCL’s national, multi-site provision.

Main Purpose of Position:

• To ensure robust compliance, effective risk management and a strong safety culture across all sites, providing assurance that systems, processes and practices are consistent, compliant and impactful.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support in leading the Health & Safety strategy and improvement plan
• Provide risk-focused reporting to senior leaders and governance
• Line manage and develop the Health & Safety team
• Oversee checks, audits, investigations and risk assessments
• Ensure statutory compliance and strong policy frameworks
• Identify trends, risks and implement effective solutions across sites

We are looking for a confident person with strong multi-site H&S experience, a proactive and friendly approach with the ability to influence and challenge to drive high standards.
