- 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, procurement, or logistics (preferably in eCommerce, retail, or CPG)
- You're fluent in both English and French (non-negotiable for our supplier relationships)
- You have experience optimizing supply chains and improving operational efficiency
- You're equally comfortable in spreadsheets and supplier negotiations
- You thrive in high-growth environments and can build systems ahead of scale

The Role
We're seeking a competitive operations specialist who can orchestrate our supply chain, streamline fulfillment, and drive financial performance. You'll be the engine that powers Teangle's ambitious growth while maintaining the quality our customers expect and helping us outperform the competition at every turn.
What you will do
Supply Chain & Fulfillment (Immediate Priority)
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that optimize costs while maintaining our premium quality standards
- Lead inventory management and demand forecasting to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory
- Build and manage relationships with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and 3PL partners to drive performance excellence
- Establish meaningful KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs) with key partners, conducting regular reviews
- Create contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks through strategic multi-sourcing
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper certification records
- Research industry trends to identify innovative practices that give us competitive advantages
Financial Performance & Cost Optimization
- Drive industry-leading profitability through aggressive cost management
- Partner with our accounting team (fractional CFO) on financial planning to outperform market benchmarks
- Win supplier negotiations to secure better terms than our competitors while maintaining superior quality
Retail Operations Support
- Support our expanding retail presence with robust operational systems
- Work with our future Retail Development hire to ensure seamless inventory management across DTC and retail partners
- Ensure retail expansion does not disrupt DTC operations and maintains profitability
Marketing & Sales Support (Operational Focus)
- Align inventory planning with marketing campaigns and sales forecasts to prevent supply chain issues
- Work with marketing on promotional planning to ensure stock availability before campaigns
- Manage Amazon & retail logistics to ensure smooth fulfillment across all channels
Process Improvement & Competitive Edge
- Identify bottlenecks in supply chain, fulfillment, and procurement and implement solutions to improve efficiency
- Work with 3PL and logistics providers to streamline shipping processes and reduce costs
- Build scalable processes that allow us to outperform competitors and stay ahead of market trends
- Implement and optimize systems such as MRP Easy or similar inventory management tools
- Utilize procurement software and analytical tools for inventory optimization
- Maintain detailed compliance record-keeping to ensure regulatory standards are exceeded
