Role Description
The Head Baseball Coach, (part-time temporary, seasonal appointment beginning late-January 2026 and ending mid-May 2026), will administer the sports program in accordance with the policies of Miami University, the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, and other appropriate governing bodies.
- Attend and provide instruction, coaching, and teaching at all practice sessions, games and/or matches, and strength and conditioning sessions.
- Demonstrate effective coaching and instruction skills to provide an environment conducive to the overall development of student athletes.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with campus personnel (i.e., admissions, financial aid, advising, etc.) to gain support, make referrals, and provide better overall service to student athletes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and experience coaching at the college and/or high school level.
- Consideration may be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree, an understanding of the rules and policies of the NCAA, and a network of contacts in primary recruiting areas.
Requirements
- A criminal background check is required.
