[Hiring] Grants & Resources Manager @MEDICAL TEAMS INTERNATIONAL

Role Description

The Grants & Revenue Manager contributes to the calling of Medical Teams International by supporting the acquisition of institutional grants and creating standard processes, guidance, tools, and resources to support institutional and grant funding acquisition across the Medical Teams US Program (USP) portfolio. This role includes:

• Developing common tools and processes for proposal and grant agreement execution, grant writing and reporting, grant compliance, US Programs, grant knowledge management, and coordination.
• Monitoring and reporting of non-USP generated revenue sources, including supervision of Medicaid billing and payments, site fees, and individual donations for all USP Programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Required).
• Master’s degree in relevant field (Preferred).
• Minimum 5 years' work experience writing healthcare related government or public institution grants and contracts.
• Experience working with government agencies and representatives in the Health and Human Services sector, the Department of Homeland Security, and local emergency/disaster response agencies and representatives.
• Experience writing and editing grants for clarity and professionalism.

Requirements

• Knowledge of governmental departments (at all levels of government) to identify funding opportunities.
• Knowledge of government grant administration, including compliance, data reporting, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge and experience with local and regional healthcare systems in Oregon and Washington, including Medicaid and Medicare.
• Ability to supervise and support staff in Medicaid billing and patient services, ensuring alignment with grant and financial compliance standards.
• Knowledge of local disaster response agencies.
• Knowledge and experience in working with marginalized and disenfranchised populations, including culturally specific communities.
• Knowledge of US Government Rules and Regulation requirements, including Grant and Cooperative Agreements, Proposal Development, Subaward Management, and Cost Proposal principles.
• Basic understanding of health systems and the healthcare safety net system.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, 365 Suite: Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skilled with communication software: Teams, Outlook, Internet, CRM (or other database programs).
• Excellent written and spoken English fluency skills.
• Prior use of grants.gov and SAMS systems for USG funding.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Ability to remain organized in complex proposal development.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to troubleshoot web interface issues with donor portals.
• Ability to communicate proposal plans and deadlines.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends.
