Role Description

The Graduate Admissions Counselor at Moravian University is a pivotal role that blends the art of sales with student support to drive enrollment and retention in our graduate programs. The Graduate Admissions Counselor is responsible for managing the prospective student funnel, ensuring that every individual receives exceptional guidance and support throughout their journey with Moravian. This role requires a self-motivated, organized professional who excels in a dynamic, results-driven environment and can work independently to achieve enrollment goals. Specifically, this role will involve recruiting students in the following programs:

• Doctor of Athletic Training
• Post Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate
• Speech-Language Pathology Doctorate

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in a related field.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively and adapt to a wide range of audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work independently with minimal direction.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing, results-oriented environment.
• Proven ability to work as a member of a team while also working one-on-one with students — strong collaboration skills paired with individual initiative.
• Commitment to customer service and the ability to serve as a trusted ambassador of the One Enrollment Division's mission and goals.
• Proficiency with integrated technology systems and tools, including CRM platforms.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student needs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• Experience with or knowledge of athletic training, occupational therapy, and/or speech-language pathology (preferred).
• Previous experience in sales or higher education admissions (preferred).
• This position allows for a remote work schedule.
