[Hiring] GIS Technician @Vitaver & Associates

Role Description

The GIS Technician will be responsible for the following:

• Configure, deploy, and maintain ArcGIS Field Maps solutions for construction field teams.
• Deliver training and support to engineering and construction site teams on mobile GIS tools.
• Serve as the primary GIS point of contact for field teams, ensuring smooth adoption of mobile solutions.
• Support broader geospatial and data management efforts across the organization as needed.
• Develop and maintain training materials and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot GIS issues in fast-paced field environments and provide timely resolutions.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time to construction sites to provide on-site support and training.

Qualifications

• Experience with ArcGIS Field Maps configuration and deployment.
• Experience with ESRI suite.
• Experience with geospatial and data management.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro for data review and edits.

Requirements

• Preferred experience supporting construction or energy projects.
• Preferred experience with ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Preferred experience conducting training for non-technical users.
• Preferred experience creating technical documentation.
