South College invites applications for the position of ONLINE Adjunct Faculty Member for Mathematics. Under the direction of the Department Chair/Dean of General Education, the Adjunct Mathematics Instructor will provide ONLINE instruction for General Education Math courses including:
- College Algebra
- Statistics
- Pre-Cal
- Calculus
Instructors are required to:
- Evaluate students’ progress
- Communicate with Faculty Leads for subject matter questions
- Return all graded assignments in a reasonable time frame according to South College Expectations
Qualifications
- A minimum of an acceptable master’s degree in Mathematics (doctorate preferred) or an earned master’s or doctoral degree and satisfactory completion of 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics
- Experience teaching mathematics in an online environment
