Role Description

It is imperative for this position that the candidate be a highly motivated self-starter who can work independently with the support and backing of corporate headquarters and staff. This candidate will be working closely across departments in the company with the CEO, COO, estimators, and sales team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience handling property claims, including commercial property adjusting
• Must be able to obtain Public Adjusters License in Colorado; able to obtain licensure in other states as required including Bonding Requirements
• Xactimate experience preferred
• Knowledge of property insurance policies and their interpretation
• Construction, Restoration, or Investigative background, 1 year (Preferred)
• Strong written and communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to work with multi-faceted systems

Requirements

• Set appointments to investigate and evaluate scope of damages with Insurance Company Adjusters, Engineers, Architects, and clients to resolve complex coverage and damage issues
• Prepare, document, and support the claim on behalf of the Insured
• Explain coverage and assist with identification and documentation of damages and emergency repairs to policy holder
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated skilled negotiator, able to work as a member of a team or independently
• Quick learner and technologically savvy
• Ability to market to new customers and a strong networker
• Excellent follow up skills
• Positive attitude and excellent organizational skills
• Customer service
• Able to meet the physical requirements of this position, including climbing ladders and accessing rooftops, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Strong communication skills and listening skills
• Travel and able to adjust schedule on the fly
• Willing to maintain a flexible work schedule with a great work/life balance
• Clean criminal record
• Willing to relocate to Colorado
