Role Description

The Customer Engineering team at Calor Gas are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Gas Engineer providing engineering services and emergency response to Calor customers in Inverness and surrounding areas.

• Installing and maintaining Calor’s bulk tanks and assets at customer sites.
• Travel (van and fuel provided) in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base.
• Participation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours.

Qualifications

• ACS Gas Qualified.
• A Full Manual UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in dealing with customers and providing excellent customer care.
• Any relevant gas engineering experience would be considered useful.
• An understanding of LPG and the installation and maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders would be a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health and Safety awareness.
