[Hiring] Fraud Team Manager @Monzo

Role Description

We’re on a mission to make money work for everyone. We’re waving goodbye to the complicated and confusing ways of traditional banking. Our product offering has grown significantly in the last 10 years in the UK, including:

• Personal and business bank accounts
• Joint accounts
• Accounts for 16-17 year olds
• A free kids account
• Credit cards

Our UK customers can also save, invest, and combine their pensions with us. With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award-winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers!

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, from 5pm - 1:30am, Monday - Friday. Start Date - 4th January 2027.

As a Team Manager, you’ll guide your team through their day-to-day work, analysing performance and wellbeing trends, offering feedback, and coaching them to success. You’ll take a proactive approach to keeping engagement high — celebrating wins, creating space for open conversations, and helping your team link their work to Monzo’s mission.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management experience
• Values-driven approach in line with Monzo’s core values
• Strong subject matter expertise in Fraud
• Ability to coach and develop teams and individuals
• Experience in identifying performance and wellbeing trends
• Ability to provide specific actionable feedback
• Work well independently and collaboratively
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize time-sensitive workloads

Requirements

• Analysing, understanding and regularly reporting on performance and absence data
• Managing and supporting team performance
• Facilitating return to work and wellbeing conversations
• Keeping the team engaged with the wider business mission
• Supporting team development through personal development plans
• Maintaining necessary documentation
• Supporting with hiring across the domain
