Role Description

As a Fraud and Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Investigating suspicious activities and user behaviors.
• Identifying multi-accounting schemes, bonus abuse, and betting patterns.
• Working with data and internal tools to build evidence-backed cases.
• Making decisive judgment calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensuring marketplace integrity and protecting users.
• Strengthening Novig’s fraud and risk systems as the exchange scales.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in fraud operations, trust & safety, risk, or a similar investigative role.
• Experience in fintech, gaming, marketplaces, or high-volume e-commerce (strongly preferred).
• Comfortable working with data and internal tooling; familiarity with SQL or analytics tools like Looker or Tableau is ideal.
• Strong investigative mindset with the ability to identify subtle patterns or anomalies in user behavior.
• Clear communication skills, especially when explaining suspicious activities to non-technical teammates.
