Role Description

This role is crucial to ensuring the high performance and integration of our flexible packaging solutions across customer sites.

Perform product qualifications and trials at customer locations to guarantee our flexible packaging solutions meet tailored customer requirements.
Offer technical support and troubleshooting for our film products on-site, ensuring swift and effective resolution of any issues.
Engage directly with customers to comprehend their packaging needs, providing expert advice and tailored solutions.
Liaise with R&D and production teams, sharing customer feedback and field insights to drive product innovation and improvement.
Provide comprehensive training to customers on the handling, installation, and maintenance of our products, ensuring optimal performance.
When not in the field, actively participate in our own facilities to integrate with the team, share knowledge, and contribute to collaborative projects.
Prepare detailed field service reports, documenting product performance, customer interactions, and technical activities.
Keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory standards to offer informed recommendations and sustain our competitive advantage.

Qualifications

Technical diploma or degree in Engineering, Material Science, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
5 years demonstrated experience in a field technician, installation, maintenance or similar role, preferably within the flexible packaging or food and beverage industry.
In-depth knowledge of packaging materials and processes, with a focus on flexible films.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and proficiency in troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong customer relationships and effective team collaboration.
Availability for extensive travel to customer sites, including overnight stays, while maintaining a significant presence in our own facilities.
Domestic travel estimated at 50-80%.
Independent, self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
A strong commitment to safety, quality, and delivering outstanding customer service.
