[Hiring] Field Technology Strategist @CrowdStrike

Role Description

As the Field Tech Strategist for Northern Europe, you will support the Northern European teams which cover UK&I, Nordics, and Benelux plus others. You will work and support the CTO Labs team at CrowdStrike. The Tech Strategy team’s mission is to identify & deliver new strategic direction & thought leadership to customers, analysts, media & partners while supporting the international growth of customers, new markets, and TAM. This includes driving strategy through cross-functional collaboration across the company including Product, Sales, Marketing, and more.

As the region's Field Tech Strategist, you will be responsible for creating and communicating the company’s technical vision and strategy on a regional basis and working closely with the company’s Product CTOs, Product Managers, and Engineering functions on a regular basis. You will also work closely with other groups within the CTO Labs organization, which includes:

• Public sector and industry teams
• Legal and corporate affairs
• Public relations
• Data science
• Corporate development
• Detection engineering

This role reports to the Field CTO Europe. With your extensive cybersecurity background and your ability to think and operate at a strategic level, you will drive CrowdStrike’s technical vision and strategy across Europe but will also provide support on strategic engagements across the CrowdStrike organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing security strategies for companies and/or governments and for overseeing the successful implementation and execution of these strategies
• Experience building and executing corporate security strategy with the ability to differentiate CrowdStrike’s products and services
• Broad information security competency and experience across strategy, governance, technology, and policy
• Deep and broad knowledge of security issues and trends, able to articulate a high-level security strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders both within customers and in CrowdStrike, up to and including C-level executives
• Experience of working in a global environment, geo-politically aware, sensitive to different government sentiments towards technology organizations
• Proven history of speaking at industry conferences, published blogs, podcasts, white papers, books, etc.
• Experience or willingness to support public relations and conducting media interviews on various security and current affair topics including crisis situations
• Hands-on experience in detailed research and analysis
• Experience with/exposure to cybersecurity domain, particularly the threat landscape of nation-state/criminal actors and their varying methodology of exploitation
• Experience with/exposure to Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, SIEM/Log Management, Mobile Security, Identity Security, Incident Response, and other cybersecurity domains
• Regional travel with some international travel is expected

Requirements

• Ability to articulate CrowdStrike’s value proposition for security
• Experience in roles such as Regional CTO, Enterprise Technology Strategist, Strategic Consultant, or Enterprise Security Architect
