[Hiring] Field Service Technician @fives

Role Description

Fives Landis Corp is actively seeking Field Service Technicians to join its team in Hagerstown, Maryland. Your role will be to:

• Set up, integrate, and thoroughly test equipment and systems at client locations to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
• Demonstrate equipment performance and capabilities to customers, confirming proper operation and satisfaction with system standards.
• Provide rapid support for critical equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform emergency repairs by diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective and timely solutions.
• Educate and assist clients on proper equipment operation, maximizing efficiency and user confidence.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with customers and internal teams to provide timely service updates and maintain alignment.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison, managing customer interactions and ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of issues.
• Submit detailed service reports, including parts used, time spent, and corrective actions taken.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
• 2 years of field service experience.
• Knowledge of precision cylindrical grinding; centerless and double disc grinding knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of CNC machines with servo drives & motors.
• Experience with programmable Logic Controls such as Allen Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens, etc.
• Self-starter who is flexible and eager to travel 75% to engage with customers.
