[Hiring] Field Service Technician @CECO Environmental

Role Description

The Field Service Specialist will be responsible for defining and executing post-sale on-site technical product support and services for CECO Industrial Solutions. This is a remote role with 75% travel.

• Executes the established field services processes and procedures.
• Conducts on-site installation, equipment start-up/commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensures all field service projects are completed within budget/deadline to meet customers' needs.
• Maintains active contact with other departments, ensuring communication with customers and/or team members builds trust and leads to efficient problem resolution.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information concerning the Company’s operational practices, marketing, engineering, pricing, and sales strategies.
• Allocates time efficiently and effectively keeping track of critical information, schedules, and deadlines.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by the Company/OSHA.
• Ensures daily/weekly/monthly reporting is communicated accurately and concisely.
• Understands and complies with all company policies and procedures as well as additional legal regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
• Assists the Engineering team in issuing project documents to the customer, fabricators, etc.

Qualifications

• Engineering and/or Electronics or equivalent work experience or training/education.
• 5+ years’ experience working as a Field Services Specialist and/or Technician.
• Experience working with FRP and Welding a plus.
• Valid in-state driver’s license; driving record must meet acceptable company standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and CAD drawings.
• Ability to apply considerable knowledge of process instrumentation including pressure, flow, and temperature transmitters.
• Considerable knowledge of the use of Field Service management tools and software.
• Considerable knowledge of continuous emissions monitoring equipment.
• Considerable knowledge of safe handling, storage, and operations of equipment that utilizes hazardous chemicals.
• Considerable knowledge of rotating equipment, including dampers, actuators, controls, and seal air fans.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time; must have ability to travel across state borders.

• Work Environment: This position is based remotely with minimal physical requirements, primarily computer use and communication via virtual platforms.
