Role Description

As a Product Support Specialist, you will be the primary technical contact for our customers, including OEM boat builders, dealers, and end users. You will provide expert field-based support, diagnose technical issues, and work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting technical challenges, building customer relationships, and working with innovative marine technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide field-based technical support for Raymarine, Raymarine Commercial, FLIR, Maretron, and Octoplex products.
• Support customers across Italy and other territories managed by Raymarine Italia, including Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, and Malta.
• Diagnose and resolve product-related technical issues efficiently and professionally.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers requiring technical assistance and after-sales support.
• Collaborate closely with internal Customer Service and technical teams to resolve complex cases.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, product demonstrations, and promotional events.
• Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, dealers, installers, and end users.

Qualifications

• Technical or scientific qualification (degree or secondary school diploma).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Proactive approach with strong initiative and self-motivation.
• Good level of English.
• Proficient with IT systems and standard computer applications.

Desirable

• A passion for boating and the marine industry.
• Previous experience supporting technical products or marine electronics.

Travel

This role requires regular travel throughout Italy and occasional travel to other European countries within the Mediterranean region.
