Role Description

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is looking to hire a detail-oriented intermittent part-time Field / Phone Enumerator to perform tasks that support our organization.

Qualifications

• Experience multitasking in an energetic, deadline-oriented work environment.
• Ability to positively represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.
• Ability to make crop counts in designated fields.
• Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals.
• Knowledge about computers or iPads.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Organized and can maintain a positive and friendly attitude.

Requirements

• Conduct enumerator work from a residence with an operable telephone free from distractions.
• Maintain a personal vehicle ready for travel to perform field enumerator duties.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be adaptable to weather, seasonal farm responsibilities, and community functions that may affect work hours.
