[Hiring] Export Freight Specialist @Expedock

Role Description

Manage the full export lifecycle from booking to final arrival, coordinating with steamship lines (SSL) and airlines for container/RORO bookings and air freight.

• Secure space and negotiate spot rates to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare export documents: MAWB/HAWB, Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, CO.
• Handle AES/EEI filings and generate ITNs.
• Manage vehicle export requirements, including title validation with US CBP.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations where applicable.
• Act as main point of contact, providing real-time updates and support.
• Coordinate with overseas agents (e.g., Dubai/Jebel Ali hubs) for smooth clearance.
• Review and validate vendor invoices before final billing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in export freight forwarding (air & ocean).
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, FMC regulations, and TSA Known Shipper requirements.
• Experience handling vehicle exports and hazardous declarations (batteries/fuel).
• Proficiency in TMS (GoFreight preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Amenable to working night shift (US EST).
