This position may be filled at the Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician level based on experience, qualifications, technical capabilities, and certifications.

• Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop.
• Focus on safety, quality, and exceptional customer service.
• Clean customer vehicles after every job.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems, including troubleshooting and completing diagnostic testing.
• Proficiently operate Safelite’s tools and technologies.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles throughout the workday.
• Communicate with all scheduled customers in-person, via text, and on the phone.
• Present, promote, and sell Safelite promotional items and services to customers.
• Senior and Master Technician levels will serve as a technical resource, support technician development, share best practices, and assist with coaching and mentoring activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma GED/Equivalent Preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and any other license(s) (as required by federal, state, and local laws) to operate a company vehicle.
• Proven experience as an Auto Glass Technician (2+ years preferred).

Requirements

• Technician: Typically 1+ years of vehicle glass installation, repair, replacement, recalibration, or closely related automotive service experience.
• Senior Technician: Typically 3+ years of vehicle glass experience with demonstrated technical proficiency, quality performance, and independent operation.
• Master Technician: Typically 5+ years of vehicle glass experience with advanced technical expertise and demonstrated mentoring, coaching, or training capability.

Benefits

• Technician: $22.75 - 25.25/hr
• Senior Technician: $25.25 - 28.00/hr
• Master Technician: $27.50 - 30.50/hr
