[Hiring] EVP, Global Enterprise Vertical Head, Aerospace & Defence @DSV

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced executive leader to shape and lead DSV's global Aerospace & Defence vertical strategy. In this role, you will position DSV as a trusted supply chain and logistics partner to leading aerospace manufacturers, aviation organizations, defence contractors, MRO providers, and key industry stakeholders around the world.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the future direction of one of DSV's strategic industry verticals, drive sustainable growth, and build long-term partnerships across a globally significant sector.

As EVP, Global Enterprise Vertical Head, Aerospace & Defence, you will define and execute the global strategy for the vertical while driving commercial excellence, customer engagement, and sustainable business growth.

• Defining and leading DSV's global Aerospace & Defence strategy in alignment with our long-term commercial ambitions
• Driving global revenue growth through strategic account development, customer retention, and new business opportunities
• Building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across aerospace, aviation, defence, and related industries
• Translating market trends, customer priorities, and industry developments into scalable logistics and supply chain solutions
• Strengthening DSV's position as a preferred strategic logistics partner within the Aerospace & Defence ecosystem
• Leading commercial excellence initiatives across enterprise accounts, pipeline development, and strategic growth opportunities
• Collaborating with regional leadership teams, divisions, and global functions to ensure consistent execution of the vertical strategy
• Representing DSV in executive customer engagements, strategic partnerships, and industry forums
• Driving operational alignment while ensuring the highest standards of quality, security, compliance, and resilience
• Developing high-performing teams and fostering collaboration across regions, divisions, and functions

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience within global logistics, Aerospace & Defence, aviation, supply chain, or similarly complex sectors
• Strong understanding of Aerospace & Defence supply chains, including OEMs, Tier suppliers, defence contractors, airlines, and MRO providers
• Experience leading large-scale commercial, operational, P&L, supply chain, or business functions
• Proven ability to develop and execute global growth strategies and customer-centric solutions
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, quality, security, trade compliance, and risk requirements relevant to the sector
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with C-suite leaders and strategic customers
• Experience operating successfully within complex global matrix organisations
• A strategic mindset combined with strong commercial judgement and execution capability
• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous
