[Hiring] Event Planning Lead @Hasana Inc.

Role Description

The Event Planning Lead oversees Hasana’s event planning and execution, ensuring events are well-organized, engaging, and aligned with Hasana’s mission. This role provides overall event leadership, coordinates across teams, and manages event logistics from initial planning through on-site execution.

Please note: A minimum of 4 hours per week is required for this lead role. Candidates must have experience with Muslim and/or Islamic communities, events, or cultural practices to ensure our events are thoughtfully planned and culturally appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall event planning and maintain a master timeline to ensure tasks and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth communication and collaboration throughout the planning process.
• Manage venue logistics, setup, and on-site event operations.
• Document planning meetings, track action items, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
• Coordinate food, hospitality, and other guest accommodations.
• Develop the event program agenda and coordinate speakers and program participants.
• Oversee guest check-in, registration, and crowd flow to ensure a welcoming and organized experience.
• Ensure event details and materials align with Hasana’s brand, values, and mission.
• Apply knowledge of Muslim and/or Islamic communities, traditions, and cultural considerations to plan inclusive and appropriate events.
