[Hiring] Estimator - Contract & Design @The Boelter Companies, Inc.

Role Description

The Boelter Companies is seeking a skilled, motivated, and hard-working Estimator to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for quoting foodservice equipment and contract design (114000) projects to aid in new business development and enterprise growth. This remote position is based on your location; however, we do have offices located in Milwaukee, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Chicago, St. Louis, and Sacramento.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare professional, accurate, and detailed quotes for contract bid and 114000 projects.
• Provide feedback to Leadership on possible quoting efficiencies.
• Consult with team members to effectively understand the quote requirements, scope of work, and quote format.
• Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and conferences as needed based on the team needs.
• Clearly communicate information to internal departments (Contract & Design, estimating, and PM teams).
• Develop an understanding of the importance of continued consumer engagement and customer success.
• Actively follow up within the various verticals where we are executing quotes, whether internal or external.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial foodservice or general contracting estimating/quoting for commercial kitchen scopes of work.
• Experience with AutoQuotes and/or reading construction/foodservice drawings and specs.
• Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter with good time management skills.
• Basic understanding of products and learning how to sell through on-the-job training.
