Role Description
The Estimator plays a pivotal role in supporting our estimation team. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates and project proposals for residential and commercial projects.
- Reviewing and analyzing construction blueprints, schedules, and specifications.
- Utilizing digitalized estimation software for material take-offs.
- Clarifying project scope and expectations through client interactions.
- Monitoring project tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups.
- Collaborating with US-based clients and procurement teams to ensure project standards and competitive pricing.
- Maintaining professional client relationships to support ongoing satisfaction and business growth.
- Assisting in documentation processes, purchase orders, meeting minutes, and supplier/vendor communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail in analyzing construction drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and AutoCAD.
- Basic mathematical competency with strong analytical skills.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience in cost estimation or related field.
- Proficiency in estimation software such as PlanSwift, CostX, Bluebeam.
- Familiarity with construction standards and blueprint reading.
- Experience with US-based projects (preferred but not mandatory).
- Knowledge of CSI MasterFormat or similar estimation standards.
