[Hiring] Escrow Officer @Real

Role Description

We’re looking for an Escrow Officer to join our Title Services team. In this role, you’ll oversee escrow transactions from opening to closing, ensuring compliance with state regulations while delivering a seamless closing experience for all parties involved. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to make an impact by supporting Real’s growing Title Services operations.

• Manage escrow transactions from opening to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents throughout the closing process.
• Review and analyze title reports, surveys, and legal documents to identify and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with title examiners, attorneys, and insurance companies to resolve title matters.
• Prepare closing documents and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Conduct closings in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Oversee disbursement of funds and recording of documents after closing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each transaction, adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to escrow and title services.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and escrow management systems (Doubletime or Qualia a plus).
• Knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and procedures specific to the assigned region.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in real estate a plus.
• 4+ years of direct experience in escrow, title services, or real estate transactions.
• An active Escrow Officer license may be required.
• Notary preferred.
