[Hiring] Escrow Assistant @First American (India)

Role Description

Escrow Assistant provide support to the NCS Office by assisting with escrow related processes and specific office language, while adhering to standard operating procedures and company policies.

The National Escrow Assistant Team (NEAT) is comprised of elite team members of GOST Specialized Services. After completion of training, the following are processes in which the Escrow Assistant will be able to perform at the time of assignment to an office:

CORE PROCESSES:

• OPEN ORDER PROCESS
• PSA: DATA ENTRY
• PSA: TIMELINE
• LEAPFROG
• DOCUMENT UPLOAD
• FEE ENTRY (MISC DISBURSEMENTS)
• SETTLEMENT STATEMENT – FEE ENTRY
• WIRE VERIFICATION (DOMESTIC)
• WIRE SET UP (DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL)
• FEDEX LABEL

NEXT LEVEL PROCESSES

• RECEIPT INCOMING WIRES
• IBA PROCESS
• TASKING CHECK CUTTING REQUESTS
• TASKING PAYOFF REQUESTS
• INVOICING
• 1099-S PROCESS
• DQM ERRORS REMEDIATION
• SIMPLIFILE E-RECORDING
• RECORDING RECONCILIATION
• TRIAL BALANCE AUDIT AND REMEDIATION PROCESS

Qualifications

• Ability to organize and prioritize submitter requests
• Knowledge and experience with FAST/ClarityFirst applications
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and Teams

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• College or University studies is a plus
• Banking and/or accounting experience is a plus
• Prior experience in the Title and/or Escrow industry preferred but not required
