[Hiring] ERP Business Analyst II @InComm Payments

Role Description

The ERP Business Analyst II is a key technical resource within the Systems Support division of IT Finance & Accounting Support Services. This role serves as the bridge between the Customer Advocacy team and technology teams, translating accounting and financial requirements into clear technical specifications, determining appropriate technical pathways, and coordinating engagements across partnering IT teams. This role ensures financial systems, data pipelines, and reporting platforms accurately support accounting principles, compliance needs, and business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical liaison, building strong partnerships with IT Development and Support teams to collaboratively resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
• Review and analyze business requirements from the Customer Advocacy division and write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs.
• Document system data flows, dependencies, and integration points to strengthen knowledge continuity across the team.
• Translate accounting concepts (GL, AP/AR, revenue recognition, accruals) into system and data requirements.
• Analyze and validate financial data for accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
• Support testing, UAT, and defect resolution for finance systems.
• Partner with engineering and data teams on system enhancements and integrations.
• Ensure solutions align with internal controls and ESS leadership objectives and keys results.
• Maintain high standards of system performance, documentation accuracy, and customer responsiveness to ensure smooth financial and accounting operations.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning through knowledge sharing, process refinement, and proactive skill development.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into clear technical actions.
• Technical literacy (SQL, APIs, data flows, integrations).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on accuracy and long‑term solutions.
• Experience writing user stories and technical requirements.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to partner with cross‑functional IT and Finance teams.
• Attention to detail in documentation, tracking, and process adherence.
