Role Description

As an Equity Committee Member, you will support the PADC's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. You will help develop and implement equity goals, bring equity concerns to leadership, and foster positive working environments. Your contributions will ensure fair opportunities for individuals within the PADC and the doula profession.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with committee members to develop and achieve equity goals.
• Identify and bring equity concerns to the attention of PADC leadership.
• Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive working environment.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure diverse perspectives are represented.
• Support the implementation of equitable practices within PADC initiatives.

• Lived Experience: A strong personal understanding of the impact of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• Leadership: Ability to influence and guide others in achieving equity-related objectives.
• Organization: Efficiently manage time and responsibilities within the committee.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
• Project Management: Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
