Role Description
Guidewire is seeking a motivated and talented Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Security team. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our SSO platform, DLP system, and other IAM tools.
- Collaborate with IAM team members to understand requirements and contribute to the development of IAM solutions.
- Coordinate and perform periodic reviews with application owners regarding status of their applications and their security capabilities.
- Support daily operations of Okta Workforce SSO platform.
- Assist with DLP policy and rule reviews.
- Scripting and coding to automate IAM processes and tasks, utilizing languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
- Create and maintain documentation for application and system configurations.
- Generate reports and analytics to provide insights into IAM operations and compliance status.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IAM systems and integrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience supporting an SSO platform (Okta, Ping, ADFS, etc.).
- Someone who has an analytical mindset.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
Requirements
- Experience with DLP tools is a plus.
- Experience with AWS Identity Center, IAM roles is a plus.
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts and technologies.
