[Hiring] Enterprise Hardware, Telecom & Reseller Strategic Sourcing Leader @Trucordia

Role Description

Trucordia is seeking a Hardware, Telecom & Reseller Strategic Sourcing Leader, Enterprise Procurement to support the building and scaling of a modern procurement organization that supports enterprise growth, operational excellence, supplier governance, and value creation. This role is responsible for leading sourcing initiatives, developing category strategies, building category playbooks, creating supplier strategies, managing commercial negotiations, and partnering with business stakeholders across hardware, telecom, reseller management, professional services, and assigned indirect categories.

The successful candidate will contribute to the continued development of Trucordia’s procurement operating model by helping create scalable sourcing capabilities, category management disciplines, supplier governance practices, technology-enabled processes, and data-driven decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives across hardware, telecom, reseller management, professional services, and assigned indirect categories.
  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned to enterprise objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis, supplier assessments, benchmarking, and sourcing events.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and identify value creation opportunities.
• Category Strategy & Ownership
  • Develop category strategies, supplier strategies, multi-year roadmaps, category playbooks, and governance approaches that support enterprise priorities and business growth.
  • Maintain supplier segmentation, renewal and refresh visibility, preferred supplier and reseller programs, and category governance approaches.
  • Monitor original equipment manufacturer, distributor, reseller, carrier, connectivity, mobility, support, maintenance, and managed service markets.
  • Provide category intelligence, benchmarking insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Translate enterprise technology, infrastructure, workplace, location, and growth priorities into category-level sourcing and supplier strategies.
• Business Partnership
  • Build trusted relationships across IT, Network, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Facilities, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other business functions.
  • Engage stakeholders early to influence specifications, standards, demand plans, supplier decisions, commercial strategies, and implementation requirements.
• Supplier & Contract Management
  • Support supplier lifecycle management, performance management, renewal and refresh planning, and supplier optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and govern reseller strategies, including manufacturer alignment, channel selection, pricing transparency, discounts, rebates, deal registration, services, support, and escalation paths.
  • Negotiate hardware, telecom, mobility, connectivity, maintenance, warranty, support, managed services, implementation, and related professional services arrangements.
• Procurement Transformation
  • Support procurement policies, governance, operating model improvements, demand and asset lifecycle practices, tools, templates, and sourcing frameworks.
• Technology, Analytics, & AI Enablement
  • Analyze spend, supplier, inventory, asset, usage, circuit, location, contract, rate, renewal, refresh, and category data.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, reporting, business cases, and recommendations.
  • Utilize Excel, Power BI, AI-enabled tools, and procurement technologies to improve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, plus 5+ years in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, Supplier Management, or Supply Chain, with demonstrated responsibility for hardware, telecom, reseller, carrier, or managed services categories.
• Demonstrated success leading sourcing initiatives and commercial negotiations with manufacturers, resellers, distributors, telecom carriers, connectivity providers, or managed service providers, with strong understanding of hardware lifecycle economics, telecom/connectivity services, reseller and channel models, service levels, warranties, maintenance, and common commercial constructs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite; Power BI; NetSuite or equivalent ERP; Zip or equivalent procurement workflow platform; and Jira or equivalent project management tool. Familiarity with telecom expense management, IT asset management, inventory, contract lifecycle management, and AI-enabled business tools is a plus.
• Comfortable independently analyzing spend, inventory, usage, location, rate, supplier, proposal, contract, and category data, and building business cases and executive presentations that translate findings into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth, multi-site, and evolving environments, with the flexibility and judgment to contribute beyond traditional functional boundaries.

Requirements

• Experience developing hardware, telecom, reseller, or managed services category strategies, playbooks, supplier segmentation models, and sourcing roadmaps.
• Experience negotiating with OEMs, value-added resellers, distributors, telecom carriers, connectivity providers, or managed service providers, including reseller economics, deal registration, rebates, discounts, warranties, maintenance, support, deployment, service levels, and refresh planning.
• Experience managing technology categories in insurance, financial services, professional services, technology, or other complex enterprise environments.
• Skilled in spend, inventory, usage, circuit, location, supplier, and benchmarking analysis.
• Experience supporting procurement transformation initiatives and multi-site, acquisition-driven, or high-growth organizations.
