[Hiring] Enterprise Architect II @BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee

Role Description

We are hiring an Enterprise Architect II on our Strategy and Architecture team at BCBST! In this role, you will help shape the technology architecture that supports our provider domain, including critical capabilities such as:

• Provider interactions
• Contracting
• Credentialing
• Network management

You’ll evaluate emerging trends in provider network management and translate business needs into scalable architecture and integration solutions.

To be successful in this role, in addition to the core job requirements, you’ll bring:

• Strong architecture and communication skills
• Experience in the payer-provider space
• Interoperability leadership experience with HL7 and FHIR
• Strong integration expertise across APIs and data streaming
• Experience with a variety of data storage and retrieval technologies, including GraphQL, graph databases, and other database platforms
• Adaptability and the ability to quickly learn new technologies, domains, and assignments

Note: This is a remote, work-from-home position, but the final round of interviews will take place on-site in our Chattanooga, TN office. Limited travel is required. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent work experience required
• 5 years of experience as an individual contributor leading a team in the design and implementation of one or more of the following: application and integration, data, technology and/or security architecture required

Requirements

• Provide overall direction, guidance, and definition of the EA to support the corporate business strategies
• Lead in the implementation of EA strategies and best practices to support business objectives
• Provide guidance to enterprise architects on defining technical service capabilities, design attributes, draft enterprise profiles and segment architecture
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders, address stakeholder requirements, and provide client consultations
• Provide EA support by directing teams in baseline, target and roadmap development, transition planning, system and security management, and segment architecture
• Build and maintain architecture portfolio translating business strategies into IT investments
