Role Description
The Enterprise Architect role, reporting directly to the CIO, is responsible for developing and driving technology vision, strategy, and execution of the enterprise IT architecture (systems, processes, workflow) and ensuring a modern technology stack that delivers highly available, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure and business applications.
- Develop a strategic roadmap for the company's IT architecture.
- Ensure alignment with the business’ organizational structure and processes.
- Harmonize with the architecture and technology stack of Vonage’s parent company Ericsson.
- Work closely with key leaders in business, product & engineering, and shared services.
- Provide hands-on architecture leadership and guidance.
- Facilitate efficient and strategic decision making.
- Collaborate and act as a trusted advisor to IT leaders and engineers.
- Drive collaboration across functions.
- Bring real-world business sense, strategic vision, and technology transformation experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in industry, with a background in software engineering, cloud & SaaS.
- Experience in architecting solutions that comply with stringent regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence and guide stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluating diverse technical approaches.
- Demonstrated industry leadership in building and scaling innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Experience working in an organization that has gone through significant growth and/or mergers or acquisitions.
- Passion for driving and maintaining high standards across global technology teams.
- Demonstrated impact and leadership through a career progression of increasingly challenging roles.
- M.S. or higher in Software Engineering or related fields.
- Further leadership/business/strategy training (e.g., EMBA) is a plus.
