Role Description
This role involves leading a team focused on incident response preparedness and best practices, identification and mitigation of security incidents, and building tools and automations.
- Manage a hybrid team of security software engineers and security engineers
- Evolve the incident response program to handle rapidly changing business requirements
- Support Detection Engineering teams' global needs
- Align closely with other incident management teams across the business
- Co-own, build, and advance the incident response charter
- Drive global engagement strategy
- Collaborate with Content Protection and Enterprise Security teams
- Actively defend Netflix’s assets across streaming, studio, games, and enterprise
Qualifications
- Meticulous and responsive cross-team communicator and program leader
- Technical background in software engineering, incident response, and digital forensics
- Well versed in the latest adversary techniques, attack lifecycle, and incident response procedures
- Experience coaching, mentoring, developing, and inspiring a talented and senior team
- Confidence in working with frontline teammates, executives, and third-party organizations
- Ability to drive success with minimal process and a heavy emphasis on individual responsibility
- Capability to cultivate team morale and culture
- Partner with leadership to implement strategies for managing high velocity and often stressful tempo
