Role Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Mortgage Specialist who is interested in transitioning into the systems and administration side of mortgage operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong end-to-end mortgage experience and a deep understanding of workflows, compliance, and loan processing who wants to grow into an Encompass Administration career path.

You will work closely with operations, compliance, and leadership teams to support, maintain, and improve the Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS). Prior Encompass Administrator experience is not required, but strong hands-on Encompass user experience and a passion for process improvement and systems are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Mortgage Operations & Workflow Support
  • Support day-to-day mortgage workflows within Encompass
  • Assist in identifying workflow inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to ensure smooth loan processing
  • Help maintain loan templates, milestone workflows, alerts, and system settings
  • Support data integrity and loan-level accuracy across the system
• Encompass System Administration Support
  • Assist with maintaining user roles, permissions, and personas
  • Support configuration updates, business rules, and workflow changes
  • Participate in testing, release validation, and sandbox activities
  • Help document system configurations and process updates
  • Troubleshoot workflow and system-related issues for end users
• Reporting & Compliance
  • Assist with custom reports, dashboards, and audit requests
  • Ensure workflows and processes align with mortgage compliance requirements including TRID, HMDA, and RESPA
  • Monitor system data quality and support operational reporting needs
• User Support & Training
  • Provide support to internal users on Encompass-related questions and issues
  • Assist in training users on workflow changes and system enhancements
  • Partner with leadership teams to improve adoption and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mortgage industry experience
• Strong hands-on experience using Encompass as an end user
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end mortgage lifecycle
• Experience in mortgage processing, closing, underwriting support, post-closing, or operations
• Strong interest in systems, workflows, process improvement, and technology
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to learn system configuration and administrative functions
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations and compliance teams

Preferred

• Exposure to Encompass administration, workflow configuration, or business rules
• Experience supporting mortgage technology platforms or LOS systems
• Background in process improvement or operations support
• Experience creating reports or dashboards within Encompass
