Role Description

Cyera is looking for an EMEA Field CTO to serve as the senior technical advocate and executive sponsor for our most strategic customers and highest-impact opportunities across the region. This is a high-leverage, externally facing leadership role for someone who combines deep technical credibility, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to influence across Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.

• Engage directly with major enterprise customers and prospects, acting as a trusted technical executive.
• Identify technical and business blockers, elevate the quality of technical engagement, and ensure customer feedback translates into action.
• Advance Cyera’s position as an AI security company and shape our technical narrative.
• Requires strong partnership with teams in Tel Aviv and across the global go-to-market organization.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Customer and Deal Leadership:
  • Act as the senior technical executive sponsor for Cyera’s most strategic EMEA accounts and largest ARR opportunities.
  • Engage with executive and technical stakeholders at major enterprises to understand their long-term priorities.
  • Drive larger, more strategic platform wins by positioning Cyera for durable customer value.
  • Step into critical sales cycles and major initiatives requiring deep technical leadership.
  • Help teams think beyond immediate deals to future opportunities.
• Technical Advocacy and Product Influence:
  • Serve as the bridge between strategic customer needs and Engineering.
  • Advocate for the capabilities and innovations required to win demanding customers.
  • Bring structured input from flagship accounts into Product and Engineering discussions.
  • Partner closely with teams in Tel Aviv for execution on important technical initiatives.
• Elevating Technical Execution:
  • Raise the bar on technical quality across major opportunities and engagements.
  • Challenge teams to ask better questions and explore non-obvious paths to value.
  • Determine effective positioning of the full platform aligned with customer priorities.
  • Improve the rigor and consistency of technical strategy in complex motions.
• Technical Marketing and Enablement:
  • Uplevel Cyera’s technical marketing output across various materials.
  • Ensure technical messaging is credible and differentiated.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to refine company messaging and technical narrative.
  • Strengthen technical enablement for Solutions Engineers and Account Executives.
  • Evaluate enablement programs and content for effectiveness.
• AI Security Leadership:
  • Drive AI Security to the forefront of Cyera’s technical selling motion.
  • Define and amplify how Cyera leads in AI security across customer conversations.
  • Shape how AI security capabilities are framed and operationalized in engagements.
  • Ensure AI security messaging is grounded in technical substance and customer relevance.
• Thought Leadership and Market Presence:
  • Represent Cyera as a senior technical leader with customers and at industry events.
  • Establish credibility with technical and executive audiences through strategic communication.
  • Serve as a thought partner on market direction and Cyera's leadership role.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior field-facing technical roles such as Field CTO, Chief Architect, or equivalent.
• Proven success supporting large enterprise accounts and complex sales motions.
• Ability to combine deep technical understanding with strong commercial judgment.
• Strong pattern recognition across enterprise buying behavior and competitive dynamics.
• Experience influencing Product and Engineering based on customer requirements.
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to shape strategy across functions.
• Excellent technical storytelling and presentation skills.
• Experience improving technical enablement for field teams.
• Strong familiarity with modern data security and cloud security.

Preferred Background

• Experience working with large global enterprises in regulated sectors.
• Background in data security, DSPM, DLP, AI security, or adjacent domains.
• Experience in high-growth startup environments.
• Comfort operating across EMEA while partnering with leadership in Israel.
