Our Financial Aid Optimization Analysts support project work streams utilizing analytic tools, established methodologies, and innovative modeling techniques to implement comprehensive, data-driven financial aid strategies.

Qualifications

• Current U.S. work authorization required
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in consulting, Higher Education, or relevant work experience
• Strong analytical reasoning skills, including proficiency in Excel or other analytic tools
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and visual

Requirements

• Experience in financial aid, admissions, enrollment management, or institutional research, leveraging data to inform decision-making and optimize performance
• Familiarity with statistical tools or programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL
• Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Comfortable using emerging AI tools to improve efficiency, strengthen analysis, support research, and enhance communication, while applying sound judgment, data stewardship, and appropriate human review

Benefits

• The estimated base salary range for this job is $55,000 - $75,000
• The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel
• This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy
• Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $59,400 - $84,000
• The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs
