Role Description

Liberty Solutions is seeking an experienced eClinicalWorks (eCW) Legacy Application Support Analyst for a long-term, 24-month engagement supporting a healthcare organization’s existing eClinicalWorks environment. The analyst will provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational assistance for legacy eClinicalWorks functionality. This individual will work closely with clinical, operational, technical, and IT stakeholders to maintain system stability, resolve application issues, and support users throughout the organization. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity requiring 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day application support for the organization’s legacy eClinicalWorks (eCW) environment.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve eClinicalWorks application issues reported by clinical, operational, and administrative users.
• Manage and resolve application support tickets, including issue documentation, prioritization, escalation, and follow-through.
• Support existing eClinicalWorks workflows, configurations, templates, and application functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues involving clinical workflows, patient registration, scheduling, documentation, orders, results, and other eCW functionality as applicable.
• Assist with user access, application configuration, workflow issues, and general system maintenance.
• Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to understand issues and determine appropriate technical or workflow-based resolutions.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring application issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and other application teams when issues involve integrations, interfaces, infrastructure, or downstream systems.
• Support testing and validation of application changes, fixes, patches, and configuration updates.
• Maintain clear documentation of application configurations, workflows, troubleshooting procedures, and issue resolutions.
• Assist with legacy system data access and operational needs as the organization continues to maintain and support its eClinicalWorks environment.
• Provide knowledge transfer and subject matter expertise related to historical eClinicalWorks workflows and configurations.
• Work independently in a remote environment while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience supporting eClinicalWorks (eCW) in a healthcare environment.
• Experience providing legacy application support, production support, or application analyst services for eClinicalWorks.
• Strong understanding of healthcare clinical and/or ambulatory workflows.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting application issues and supporting end users in a live production environment.
• Experience managing and resolving application support tickets from initial investigation through resolution.
• Ability to analyze workflows, identify root causes, and distinguish application issues from workflow, interface, or user-related issues.
• Experience working collaboratively with clinical users, operational teams, IT resources, and third-party vendors.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting eClinicalWorks within a large healthcare organization or multi-site ambulatory environment.
• Experience supporting legacy applications during or following an EHR migration or transition to another enterprise EHR platform.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks interfaces, integrations, data feeds, and interoperability workflows.
• Experience supporting legacy-system data retention, historical chart access, or application decommissioning initiatives.
• Previous experience working on long-term healthcare IT consulting engagements.
