Role Description

This role is for a Dynatrace Administrator and Integration Expert responsible for optimizing Dynatrace environments, ensuring comprehensive asset tagging, automating incident detection and response, and reducing mean time to repair (MTTR) for major incidents. The position involves hands-on experience with Dynatrace tagging, ownership models, workflows, automation, and integrating alerts with ITSM tools like Freshservice.

• Install, configure, and administer Dynatrace SaaS/Managed environments.
• Deploy and manage OneAgent and ActiveGate components across servers, applications, and cloud platforms.
• Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, and end-user experience using Dynatrace APM capabilities.
• Configure alerting profiles, anomaly detection, problem notifications, and AI-driven monitoring.
• Analyze application bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis for performance-related incidents.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, notebooks, and custom visualizations for stakeholders.
• Implement Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Synthetic Monitoring to ensure optimal customer experience.
• Monitor cloud, container, Kubernetes, virtualized, and on-premises environments.
• Configure service detection, dependency mapping, distributed tracing, and topology analysis.
• Define and monitor KPIs, SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to improve service reliability.
• Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM, CI/CD, ServiceNow, Teams, and other enterprise tools.
• Automate monitoring activities using scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Perform capacity planning, trend analysis, and proactive performance optimization.
• Manage user access, RBAC, security policies, licensing, and governance standards.
• Support incident, problem, and major incident management processes.
• Prepare documentation, SOPs, monitoring standards, and knowledge transfer materials.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in Infrastructure Monitoring and Observability.
• 4+ years of hands-on Dynatrace administration experience.
• Proven experience implementing tagging governance and ownership-based monitoring.
• Experience integrating monitoring tools with ITSM platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and enterprise support experience.
