Role Description

Dover Publications, a division of Lakeside Book Company, is looking for a Print Production Intern. As our Print Production Intern, you will support our Production team and assist the Production Manager with tasks, including:

• Enter print job specification information in the pricing template and build printing scenarios
• Enter Purchase Orders into the system
• Track open purchase orders and follow up with vendors on late deliveries
• Gain exposure to all stages of the book development process
• Maintain blank dummy library of samples received

Qualifications

• An interest in book publishing with an eagerness to learn
• The ability and willingness to work in a team environment
• Well organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Previous experience in data-entry

Requirements

• Summer Internship—10 weeks, beginning in June and ending mid-August
• Monday to Thursday
• Six hours per day
• $16.00 per hour
• Remote position (A consistent schedule of weekly hours is expected with the ability to attend regular online meetings.)
